Was anyone hurt?: The LAPD told LAist no serious injuries were reported and no medical transport was recorded from the Los Angeles Fire Department. Public information officer Charles Miller said that insurance information was exchanged between someone representing the Pantry and the driver. No arrests were made and no charges have been filed.
What else should I know?: The restaurant, which closed down in March, was purchased from the Richard J. Riordan Family Trust by real estate developer Leo Pustilnikov earlier this month. Pustilnikov has said he wants to re-open the over 100 year old restaurant on New Year's Eve.
