Steelers at Patriots picks and predictions

Prediction

Patriots 30, Steelers 24

Moneyline

BET PATRIOTS (+110).

Maye and the Patriots offense moved the ball well last week on the road, going 7-of-12 on third-down conversions and 1-of-1 on fourth down. They utilized Stevenson as a 2-way player, finding success both on the ground and through the air. Playing at home against a Steelers team dealing with key injuries on defense, the Patriots offer great value at plus money.

While Rodgers more than likely had an off game last week, the Steelers defense has struggled this season, allowing at least 31 points in both games. Until it can clean up its play, it will be difficult to back Pittsburgh.

Against the spread

PASS.

There is better value on the Patriots' moneyline.

Over/Under

BET OVER 44.5 (-110).

The Steelers have allowed 63 points through 2 games this season, going 2-0 to the Over. Their defense has yet to provide crucials stops, and their offense is more than capable of reaching the endzone.

The Patriots dropped 33 points last week and seemed to have ironed out the kinks from Week 1. Additionally, against Rodgers, an experienced veteran, their defense will face a tall task.
