ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Surveillance videos at an apartment complex on Ladera Drive NW led to an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting that happened there just after 11 p.m. Thursday, an Albuquerque Police Department news release said.

When police arrived, they found a man apparently dead from a gunshot wound. Beside his body was what looked like a handgun but was in fact a BB gun. The victim has not been identified.

Surveillance from a nearby apartment showed a person dressed in gray, with a fanny pack across the chest, walking with a female in the complex parking lot. Gunshots were heard at 11:19 p.m., and the person dressed in gray was seen running away, the release said.
