Florida college football fans are in for what has become a rare treat: A matchup between Miami and Florida .

The Saturday, Sept. 20, matchup between the No. 6 Hurricanes (3-0) and Gators (1-2) will mark the ninth iteration of the 21st century. The matchup is the second in as many years, with the Hurricanes earning a blowout 41-17 win over the Gators in Gainesville, Florida, on Aug. 31, 2024.

Miami extended its lead to 30-27 with the win last year and is 16-14 at home against rival Florida.
