Toledo Top 64 has been a staple invite-only showcase for Northwest Ohio boys high school basketball since 2019.

This year, organizers Anthony and Shane Garcia introduced the area’s first girls basketball event, inviting the area’s top 64 players to play in front of Division II, Division III, and NAIA college coaches.

The free showcase was held at Scott High School on Saturday, with players from different high schools divided into eight teams and playing three games.

“We’re a mission-based organization in that our goal is to remove barriers in terms of costs and travel for players and create an environment that gives players a platform to be seen,” Anthony said. “There's no reason that doesn't apply to the girls basketball scene.”
