It’s time to wave goodbye to our dry weather pattern and give in to the rainy forecast ahead. A line of rain is going to move in later today and tonight - and may be packing some thunderstorms. Most of this will stay on the western side of the Lower and Upper Peninsulas.

On Sunday, a more widespread rain is forecast. And in some areas, it could be a heavy rain or even switch to severe weather. More than an inch of rain could fall in areas in the southern half of the Lower Peninsula.
