Head coach Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers entered the 2025 college football season as the No. 4-ranked team in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Now three weeks into this year's campaign, Clemson is unranked with a 1-2 record.

The Tigers opened up the season with a 17-10 home-game loss to LSU. They bounced back with a 27-16 win over Troy in Week 2, but suffered yet another 24-21 loss at the hands of Georgia Tech last weekend.

Swinney and his Clemson program made six consecutive College Football Playoff appearances from 2015-21, winning two national championship titles over that span. But since the emergence of the NIL and transfer-portal eras of college football, the program has struggled to reach that same level of success.
