Syracuse, N.Y. —The Syracuse University football team beat Clemson for the first time ever in Death Valley, taking down the Tigers 34-21 on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium to improve to 3-1 on the season.
The loss sent Clemson to a 1-3 record under head coach Dabo Swinney for the first time.
The landmark win, in which Syracuse was listed a 17.5 point underdog, came with a price as the Orange lost its starting quarterback to what appears to be a serious injury.
