Reigning Strictly Come Dancing champion Chris McCausland returned to the show on Saturday night with some wise words of advice for the new contestants.

The comedian lifted the Glitterball trophy with Dianne Buswell last year, winning a Bafta for their emotional Waltz to You'll Never Walk Alone, which they performed to tears during the launch show.

Talking ahead of the dance, Chris said his time on Strictly was the 'most proud I've ever been of anything in my life'.
