SAN ANTONIO — Taco Cabana held their inaugural World Taco Eating Championship on Saturday in celebration of their 47th anniversary. The competition saw some of the world's top-ranked competitive eaters go head to head right here in San Antonio!

The contest was put on by Major League Eating (MLE), who host events like the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest and others around the world. Some of the best competitive eaters from across the land like the #1-ranked female competitive eater Miki Sudo, #3-ranked Geoffrey Esper, #4-ranked James Webb and even the #1 competitive eater in Africa and tallest athlete ever in MLE, 6-foot-9 Gideon Oji also made the trip to the Alamo City!
