EUGENE -- No. 6 Oregon completed its final tune-up before the season shifts into high gear with a 41-7 win over Oregon State on Saturday afternoon in front of 58,571 at Autzen Stadium.
Credit the Beavers, a 34 1/2-point underdog, for putting up a fight early before the Ducks scored the game’s final 34 points to easily win their third consecutive game over their in-state rivals.
Oregon (4-0) will face its first true challenge of the season next week at No. 2 Penn State (3-0) in a rematch of last season’s Big Ten championship game. The Ducks beat the Nittany Lions 45-37 to win the conference championship.
Oregon quarterback Dante Moore went 21 of 30 for 305 yards and four touchdown passes to four different receivers in Dakorien Moore, Kenyon Sadiq ,Jeremiah McClellan and Gary Bryant Jr.
