LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — On Saturday, the Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a man in Luzerne County , wanted for rape and several other charges.

Authorities have wanted 40-year-old Ryan McDermott of Sweet Valley since at least Thursday, when charges were first filed. Police are searching in the area of Ross Township, which includes Sweet Valley.

Police are now seeking the public's help in locating the fugitive. The State Police are offering a cash reward for anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest of McDermott.

McDermott is described as a man standing 5'9", with blue eyes, red hair, and a tattoo on his forearm.
