LINCOLN, NE — Michigan football got a huge conference road victory Saturday afternoon in a 30-27 over Nebraska in the Big Ten opener for both teams at Memorial Stadium.
The Wolverines (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) defense sacked Nebraska (3-1, 0-1) quarterback Dylan Raiola seven times.
Michigan true freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood scored on a 37-yard touchdown to open the scoring, and the Wolverines running game dominated for 286 yards and touchdowns from running backs Justice Haynes (75 yards) and Jordan Marshall (54 yards).
That allowed the Wolverines to overcome a botched end-of-half situation by Michigan. BRYCE GRADE: Michigan football QB gets passing mark, barely Looking for a free mini puzzle? Play the USA TODAY Quick Cross now.
