ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - It took until the 183rd plate appearance of the season and the 215th plate appearance of his career for Nacho Alvarez to crank his first career home run, but he did so with a 347-foot blast in the third inning of Saturday’s 6-5 win against the Detroit Tigers.
In fact, he decided it was a good day to hit two.
