INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after two people arrived at an east Indianapolis hospital with gunshot injuries Saturday afternoon.

According to IMPD, around 7:03 p.m. on Sept. 20, officers were called to Community Hospital East located at 1500 North Ritter Avenue on a report that two people had arrived with gunshot wounds.

Police say both victims were "awake and breathing" and that it is currently unknown where the shooting took place.
