OMAHA, Neb. —

While we wrap up the final weekend of summer with mainly quiet weather, rounds of showers and storms are possible as fall begins this week.

Omaha's Weather Leader has deemed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday impact weather days with rounds of showers and storms possible.

Fall officially arrives Monday afternoon and storm chances will increase Monday evening as a cold front approaches. There is a possibility for a few strong to severe storms. As of Saturday, the Storm Prediction Center has most to eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa in a marginal risk for severe activity.

Any stronger storms that do develop will likely bring a threat for quarter size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

On and off shower and non-severe storms chances will stick around Tuesday and into Wednesday
