The 2025 Central Coast AirFest will light up the sky over the Santa Maria Airport on Oct. 18-19, with crowd-pleasing high-performance military jets and historic warbirds.
"This has really become a signature event for Santa Maria," said Jim Bray, development and sponsorship coordinator for AirFest. "The very first one was 2018, and we had about 20,000 people attend last year over the two days of the event, including representation from 13 countries and almost 30 states that came to Santa Maria for this airshow."
A major highlight this year is the U.S. Air Force F‑35A Lightning II Demonstration Team, performing tactical maneuvers that showcase the agility and speed of one of the world’s most advanced fighter jets.
