BANKS, IDAHO, Idaho — The Boise County Sheriff's Office has confirmed with KTVB that a person has died in a crash on State Highway 55 near the North Fork Payette River, north of Banks Lowman Road.

The crash has blocked the highway from milepost 79 to milepost 80.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes, use caution when traveling through the area and be patient as first responders work the scene.
