Businesses and "the basics" are priorities for Trott if elected Frederick mayor

"My goal is going to be attracting business and getting back to some of the basics of government — roads, parks, water and sewer and public safety," said Tom Trott, the Republican candidate for mayor in Frederick's upcoming general election on Nov. 4.

Trott, co-founder of downtown Frederick's Victory Mortgage Solutions, is challenging two-term incumbent Mayor Michael O'Connor, a Democrat, in the general election.
