OXFORD, Miss. (WLBT) - The Ole Miss Rebels get a statement win in a rivalry matchup on Saturday, throttling the Tulane Green Wave, 45-10, to move to 4-0 on the season.
Trinidad Chambliss got the start behind center once again for the Rebels and flourished. He finished his day 17-of-27 for 307 passing yards with 2 touchdowns as well as 14 carries for an additional 112 rushing yards.
The Rebels got off to a fast start, finding the endzone on their first drive after an eight-play, 75-yard drive capped off by a five-yard passing touchdown from Chambliss to Dae’Quan Wright.
The Rebels’ offense was dominant throughout this matchup as they only had two drives in the entire game that did not end in points.
