Dangerous weather conditions suspended play for the day at 3:25 p.m. local time on Saturday at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship in Rogers, Ark.

Eight groups completed at least one hole of the second round before play was suspended, with the golf course at Pinnacle Country Club described as unplayable.

The LPGA announced Saturday night that rules officials assessed the golf course and are "hopeful" with drying conditions overnight that Round 2 will resume at 7:10 a.m. local time on Sunday. An announcement will be made after officials evaluate course conditions earlier Sunday and also determine if the tournament will be 36 or its originally scheduled 54 holes.
