INWOOD — The 17th Annual Puttin’ in the Panhandle, a fundraiser for Panhandle Home Health, brought businesses together on Sept. 18 to raise money for people in need. Throughout the morning and afternoon, 228 people registered to play miniature golf at Jay Dees.

This event began when Chris Johnson from Panhandle Home Health and Terry Hess owner of Jay Dees sat down together to find a fun way to raise money for the organization. Inspired by the classic golf tournaments many other organizations put together, they thought it would be a great idea to do the same for miniature golf. They both agreed that they never expected to be here 17 years later continuing this tradition.
