LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Crestwood man has died after being struck by a train in southern Indiana.
According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 9500 block of State Road 64 in Georgetown.
The man, later identified as 30-year-old Camden Reed of Crestwood, Kentucky, was found on the ground next to the railway overpass.
Officers at the scene began helping Reed until EMS arrived. He was taken to UofL Hospital where he died due to his injuries later Saturday, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
Norfolk Southern Railroad Police were also at the scene to help with the investigation.
