A new WWE Women's World Champion was crowned during "Wrestlepalooza." Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer collided for the vacant title inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday. Ultimately, it was Vaquer who walked out of WWE's debut event on ESPN with the top female prize on the "Raw" brand.

The WWE Women's World Championship had been vacated after the previous titleholder, Naomi, was forced to vacate due to her pregnancy. Sky vs. Vaquer was booked by WWE "Raw" general manager Adam Pearce.
