A moldy easel at Corriher-Lipe Middle School - Submitted
SALISBURY — At a recent school board meeting, a Corriher-Lipe Middle School teacher’s mother voiced concerns about mold detected in her daughter’s classroom.
“I knew I only had three minutes to talk, so I put together a packet and we put together a timeline of what had been going on,” said Tammy Bowers in a phone call.
In addition to the timeline, Bowers’ presentation included a sampling of photos and guidelines from the NC Department of Health and Human Services, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency.
