COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced that investigators are asking the public’s help in locating a missing nine-year-old.

Ravenell said Orangeburg County Sheriff’s investigators are looking for Jaiden Hayward, who was reported missing from his Kings Road home.

“If anyone has any information on this young man, please let us know as soon as possible,” the sheriff said. “We need to get him home and back with his family.”

Law enforcement says Hayward was reportedly last seen around 3:30 p.m. Saturday riding a scooter with friends near his residence.

He is described as a black male standing about 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing around 70 pounds.

Orangeburg County deputies believe Hayward is wearing a gray or black shirt, blue jeans, and blue Crocs.
