Even after a record defeat, the biggest loss by runs in an ODI, Australian captain Alyssa Healy was happy with the World Cup “learnings” her team would take from the 102-run smashing by India.

Two days after chasing down nearly 290, Healy’s team again let the Indian batters loose but this time couldn’t find the runs needed after resting batting star Phoebe Litchfield with a low-grade quad issue giving subcontinental exposure to Georgia Voll, who was out for a duck.
