A law graduate from Coventry is set to be part of the Miss England grand final this year. Sharandeep Sahota, 21, recently won the Good Citizen Award from Coventry City Council for her voluntary work of providing homeless meals and supporting young carers in the city.

She also won the Miss Coventry crown earlier this year, which she will wear at the national final in November. Sharandeep received around 25,000 votes on Miss England and was automatically placed in the final spot after reaching the top 10 votes for standout contestants in August.

She gained a 2:1 Law LLB Honours Degree and worked at Maya and Co Solicitors on Foleshill Road while studying.
