MYRTLE BEACH, SC ( WMBF /Gray News) - Authorities say an arranged meeting at a hotel led to a shooting in downtown Myrtle Beach.

According to the Myrtle Beach Police Department, the shooting occurred on Thursday at the Polynesian Ocean Front Hotel on 1001 South Ocean Blvd.

When officers arrived at the hotel, they found a man with a gunshot wound and took a woman into custody.

Officers later identified the woman as 29-year-old Kelsey Miller. She is being charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and two drug possession charges.

The 29-year-old was also cited for prostitution.

According to arrest warrants, Miller met the man on Reddit before exchanging phone numbers. She then sent him her location, telling him to meet her at the hotel.
