Packers RB Josh Jacobs UNDER 75.5 rushing yards (-115)
Ayrton Ostly, NFL writer: After hitting the over on rushing yards last week, I'm going with the under for one this week.
This has more to do with how the Packers look as a team than how Jacobs could perform against the Browns. Green Bay looked dominant over the first two weeks but has just 213 combined rushing yards as a team through those wins. Jacobs has just 150 of that total.
They'll have had extra time to prepare for Cleveland following their "Thursday Night Football" win in Week 2. This is more of a bet that the Packers' defense will control the game well enough that the offense won't need to do much to get the win. For perspective, Baltimore beat Cleveland 41-17 in Week 2 and had 242 total yards of offense - including 45 on the ground for a unit featuring Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson.
Bears vs. Cowboys OVER 50 total points (-118)
Jacob Camenker, NFL writer: Backing the Bears to keep things close with the Lions last week was a "Not great, Bob!" moment for yours truly. Fading the Bears (and Cowboys) defenses in Week 3 seems like a much better play.
Just six teams in the NFL have surrendered an average of 30-plus points to their opponents thus far in 2025. Chicago and Dallas are two of them. Each team is missing its top cornerback – Jaylon Johnson for the Bears and DaRon Bland for the Cowboys – which could make both defenses susceptible to allowing big chunks of passing yardage. Expect this to be a high-scoring game.
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Anytime TD vs. Giants (+275)
Jack McKessy, NFL writer: The New York Giants have been gashed on the ground so far this year, allowing a league-worst 177.5 rushing yards per game and are also tied for a league-worst four rushing touchdowns allowed to opponents through two weeks.
Meanwhile, Mahomes is not only leading the Chiefs in rushing yards this season, he's leading all quarterbacks with 123 yards on the ground. That's partially because he leads the league in scrambling attempts, per Pro Football Focus, as the re-tooled offensive line in front of him in Kansas City continues to make adjustments early in the season.
Combine those factors with the high-octane pass-rush attack New York employs, and the stars seem to be aligning for another rushing touchdown for Mahomes, who has reached the end zone on the ground in each of his first two games.
Panthers QB Bryce Young OVER 16.5 rushing yards vs. Falcons (-110)
Nick Brinkerhoff, NFL writer: After seeing how the Ravens and Dolphins were able to run on this Bills defense, we might have to call for an investigation to find out what happened with Breece Hall and the Jets in Week 2. The past is the past though and we're on to Week 3.
Luckily for us – and not so much for Bryce Young – the Panthers quarterback might be running for his life on Sunday. Carolina is decimated with injuries along their offensive line and will be down at least two starters in the contest. Young had his running shoes on in Week 1, rushing for 40 yards on just five carries. That wasn't the case in Week 2, however, as he registered just two yards on two carries.
Dating back to Week 10 of last season, Young has cleared this line in 7-of-10 games while averaging 6.8 yards per carry with 3.7 attempts per game. The Falcons have surrendered the sixth-most rushing yards (32.0) to quarterbacks through two weeks, with both Baker Mayfield and J.J. McCarthy clearing this line easily. Facing what is likely a negative game script and offensive line trouble, Young should have no issues joining that group.
Eagles WR A.J. Brown Anytime TD vs. Rams (+180)
Tom Viera, NFL writer/editor: As the conductor of the touchdown train, we couldn't let Jack be the lone touchdown bettor this week. Last season in Week 12, Brown roasted this Rams defense for 109 yards and a touchdown. He's come out of the gates slow in 2025 but Philadelphia has been able to win without much production from any of its receivers. Today, they'll need to put points on the board with the high-powered Rams offense on the other sideline.
The Rams' defense has been terrific in the early goings, but matchups with the Texans' horrible offensive line and the rookie Cam Ward were anything but challenging for the unit. Brown may not have had a big game in Week 2, but he managed to rank third in separation and first in route win rate. He'll line up opposite Rams cornerback Emmanuel Forbes often today, against whom he posted 147 yards and two touchdowns while Forbes was with Washington in 2023. Expect an AJBWR1 performance, including the star wideout to find his way into the end zone for the first time this season.
