GRAND FORKS – Schroeder Middle School's principal attributed the school's recent Blue Ribbon award to the strong culture of collaboration inside and outside of the classroom.

On Friday, Sept. 5, Schroeder Middle School was one of three North Dakota schools named Blue Ribbon schools by State Superintendent Kirsten Baesler. Principal David Nowatzki said the award validated the hard work of school staff members and students.

“It's a cherry on the top of the work that we do here at the school,” he said. “We've got dedicated students, an incredibly hard working staff. We've got a really supportive community of parents and guardians and I think a lot of those things work together to create something great.”
