A man has died after a head-on crash involving an MBTA bus in Lynn, Massachusetts, early Sunday morning.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. on the Route 107 bridge. The driver of the 2016 Honda Civic was driving on the opposite side of the road when, according to MBTA Transit Police, he crossed the double yellow line.

The car collided head-on with the bus, which did not have any passengers on it at the time. The driver of the car suffered fatal injuries. The bus driver was unhurt.

The crash remains under investigation and the car driver has not been publicly identified at this time.
