After yet another year of breaking records in the WNBA, A’ja Wilson is heading home with some historic hardware.
The Las Vegas Aces superstar has been named the 2025 WNBA MVP, becoming the first player in league history to achieve the honour four times, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Sunday.
Wilson was her usual unstoppable self on both ends, averaging 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.3 blocks while shooting 50.5 per cent from the field and a career-high 42.4 per cent from three-point range.
She led the league in points and blocks per game and became the first player in league history to average 20 points and 10 rebounds in multiple seasons after also doing so in 2024.
