A landmark act that allows Alaska Native, Native American, and Native Hawaiian tribes self-determination over health matters celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), who chairs the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, is committed to see the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act continue.
