Bristol areas with the most invasive Japanese knotweed infestations
Bristol continues to be the worst affected location in England when it comes to Japanese knotweed, according to experts. There are a total of 1,440 verified knotweed sightings across the unitary authority of Bristol, or 33.91 incidences in every every square mile, according to Environet.
That’s almost triple the number found in Merseyside in second place, with 11.87 incidences in every square mile. Within Bristol, Easton is the worst affected location, followed by Brislington / Knowle and Bedminster .
