On Monday, Sept. 15, the 15-year-old girl, later identified as Shivani Kevat, was filling pots with water on the banks of the Parvati River in Rajasthan, India, where the animal lunged at her, The Independent and the Hindustan Times reported, citing Kishanganj police.
The crocodile dragged Kevat, a resident of the Mehatabpura village, into the river, catching the attention of people workin
