Unai Emery did not hold back in his press conference following Aston Villa’s draw with 10-man Sunderland.

The Villa boss criticised his team for being lazy off the ball, failing to compete in duels, and lacking a clear identity.

Villa played with a numerical advantage for more than an hour after Sunderland’s Reinildo was sent off for kicking out at Matty Cash.

Cash opened the scoring in the 67th minute, firing past Robin Roefs from long range.
