The NFL has recently disciplined two of its top stars. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Eagles running back Saquon Barkley received a letter from the offices of the NFL.

According to a report from NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Travis Kelce has been fined $14,491 for an obscene gesture. After making a catch and a big first down, Kelce would make a hand gesture towards his private area, prompting the fine from Roger Goodell and the NFL. The league decided to hand out a questionable fine request when it comes to Saquon Barkley. In another report by Tom Pelissero, Barkley was fined $46,371 for unnecessary roughness/use of the helmet in the same game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

On the questionable play, Barkley would get pad level with the defender and lower his head while bracing for a collision. Barkley's helmet would strike the Chiefs' Chamari Conner in the facemask, prompting the league to take action and issue the fine. On the play itself, a flag was never thrown. The NFL has put safety measures in place to make the game safer, but this particular play was just a typical "Football" play.

At least while receiving a much steeper penalty for a regular play, Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles would get the win.
