MEDINA - Nearly a century ago, Medina Memorial Hospital began serving the community at 200 Ohio St. Orleans Community Health, which includes Medina Memorial and the community came together Saturday to celebrate the 100th anniversary with a family fun event.

Orleans Community Health Chief Executive Officer Marc Shurtz, who's been in that position for the last five years and with Orleans Community Health for 12, said a steady group of people joined the celebration, which went from about 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
