BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Alabama is ranked No. 17 in Sunday's AP Top 25 college football poll, falling three spots from last week.

The Crimson Tide face its biggest test of the season when it meets No. 5 Georgia at Sanford Stadium. Both programs enter the contest after not playing the previous week.

The Bulldogs won in their last outing at No. 15 Tennessee, 44-41, in overtime. They defeated Marshall and Austin Peay earlier in the season.

Alabama recorded a 38-14 victory over Wisconsin on Sept. 13. It lost at Florida State to start the campaign before downing Louisiana-Monroe the following week.
