Srinagar: Noted expert in hydrology, glaciology, and climate sciences, Prof. Shakil A. Romshoo, has been featured for the sixth consecutive year in the 2025 edition of Stanford University’s prestigious Top 2 per cent Global Scientists list. Romshoo, Vice Chancellor of the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, has earned several national and international recognitions and is an elected fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences, the Indian Society of Remote Sensing, and the Indian Society of Geomatics.
