Chicago police say a 38-year-old man was shot and killed following an argument in the West Loop Sunday morning.

According to authorities, the man was on foot when he got into an argument with two men in a gray sedan in the 200 block of North Halsted Street just before 3 a.m. Sunday.

One of the suspects opened fire, striking the victim in the chest. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, a 28-year-old man later arrived at a local hospital with a graze wound to his leg. It is believed he was a suspect in the shooting, and he was taken into police custody after receiving treatment.

No further information was immediately available, and an investigation remains underway.
