CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) -- One person has been arrested in connection to a family stabbing incident on Saturday morning in Clay County.

As we previously reported, the incident happened just before 2 a.m. on Saturday morning, when multiple departments including the Clay County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a private rural residence on a report of a possible stabbing.

Upon arrival, deputies secured the scene and discovered a male who had sustained several puncture stab wounds. Lifeline Air Ambulance was requested due to the severity of the wounds. The individual suffered internal organ damage as a result of the puncture wounds.
