WELLS — Danny C. Heitman, age 71, of Wells, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.

Danny was born November 30, 1953, in Escanaba, the son of Ernest and Dorothy (Stromquist) Heitman. He attended and graduated from

Danny was a very handy man. He loved tinkering and repairing small engines. Danny worked for the local pipeline for 22 years. He was also a very social person and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
