Epworth’s Family Resource Center will officially open its doors on September 24.

The goal of the new resource center is to help Richland County families build strength and resilience, and to be a welcoming hub for families seeking guidance, assistance and connection. With a focus on child abuse and neglect prevention, the center will offer families vital support before challenges escalate.

“The Family Resource Center is more than just a place to access services — it's a place to build stronger families and stronger communities,” said Beth Williams, President and CEO of Epworth.

The Center offers a central location where Richland County families can receive:

Basic needs assistance and links to financial resources

Parenting education and support groups

Referrals to mental health counse
