LUFKIN, Texas (KETK) - The four-day Texas State Forest Festival was held at the George H. Henderson Expo Center in Lufkin this weekend.
The 41st annual festival brought in families from all over the area to partake in family-friendly forest-themed fun activities like wood carving, axe throwing and the Lumber-JACKED 5K.
"It's a very full circle moment to be able to watch multiple generations be out here and to be a part and have great memories and to make new memories and to be able to to bring back grandkids and to tell them about things that they were doing," Lufkin Angelina County Chamber of Commerce CEO Tara Watkins said. "So we love seeing families out here."
