TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Not only is the Indiana Department of Transportation gearing up their trucks for the winter months, but INDOT is also hiring drivers to help keep our roads safe this upcoming winter season.

Seasonal hiring is taking place all across the state of Indiana. The Terre Haute sub-district is holding a seasonal hiring fair this Tuesday, September 23rd. The fair will run 10 am to 3pm on Tuesday, located at 5693 East Sony Dr. at the Terre Haute Campground.

INDOT said they are looking for seasonal snow operators who have a valid CDL. The positions start at 21 dollars an hour for fulltime and 25 dollars an hour for on call. INDOT also mentioned they have many positions available and that it is all around a very rewarding job.
