GLENDALE, Ariz. (NewsNation) — White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles said the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk not only helped President Donald Trump with his campaign, but that he made the winning difference with getting young voters on board.
"I know he is looking down now, rejoicing because his life, his words, his courage to speak the truth about God, family and country built the most powerful youth movement in our time," Wiles said.
Trump has long credited Kirk with playing an important role in his 2024 election victory, which saw more Gen Zers vote to re-elect him. Thousands came to his memorial service, which included attendees such as Vice President JD Vance and other Trump administration officials.
