CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — Dozens of West Virginians came out to walk Clarksburg City Park in Nutter Fork on Sunday to raise awareness for kidney health and raise money for the National Kidney Foundation.

Fresenius Kidney Care helped organize the walk and raffle with all money going to the National Kidney Foundation Serving the Alleghenies, which supports Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

According to The National Kidney Foundation Serving the Alleghenies Executive Director Nicole Cannon, 37 million adult Americans are at risk of kidney disease, and the Foundation works to support patients and provide education regarding kidney health.
