Tennessee picked up three points at home Sunday afternoon, earning its second conference victory of the season with a 2-1 win over LSU.
With the results, the Lady Vols improved to 8-1-1 overall and 2-1-0 in conference play. UT remains unbeaten at Regal Soccer Stadium, extending its home record to 4-0-0.
Redshirt junior Leah Klurman opened up scoring in the 32nd minute in dramatic fashion. With open space in front of her, she dribbled from midfield and fired a right-footed shot into the upper-left corner past the keeper from well outside the 18-yard box. It was the defender's first career goal.
Klurman becomes the 10th Lady Vol to score this season, at the half-way mark, already surpassing last year's number of total goal-scorers.
